Who we are

Climate Jobs UK is a campaign coalition of trade unions, GMB and Prospect, campaigning to ensure that the UK maximises the economic benefits of the transition to clean power – creating good jobs, supporting local economies and delivering energy security.

We’re campaigning for a transition that:

  • Prioritises jobs and the economy
  • Supports our domestic supply chain
  • Is worker-led and socially inclusive

01

Our Mission

We will advocate for and help deliver ambitious climate action in the UK through the creation of good-quality, unionised jobs.

02

Our Aim

We want to ensure the UK maximises the economic benefits of the transition, creating tens of thousands of high-paid, high-skilled jobs, securing a thriving future for our traditional energy communities.

03

Our Strategy

Climate Jobs UK is the first international partner of the US-based Climate Jobs National Resource Centre. Working in partnership with the Climate Jobs Institute at Cornell University, we’ll develop a worker-led, evidence-based climate plan that delivers on jobs.
